Ashton's 4th Birthday!!

Ashton turned 4 years old today!!
We started the day off at his favorite park to play

It was also Grandpa Meldrum's Birthday to and he was in town, so the two of them decided to go to their favorite Cafe Rio for lunch

When the boys got home from school it was present and cake time!!

Happy Birthday Ashton!!! You make our whole family smile...We love you!!

Phoenix Zoo

We took the boys to the Phoenix Zoo.
Ashton loved being with all the animals!!

The monkeys...We got right in with them while they were running and jumping next to us.

These Turtles were HUGE!! Like 600 lbs

This big open area behind Ashton and I was filled with giraffes, gazelle, bulls, and ostriches just roaming all over for us to view.

We went up on this deck that over looked the giraffes and we got to feed them food. The boys each fed them cookies and got to pet them.

We had a great day at the zoo. We had to do this in the winter when the animals are out, because shortly here it will feel like summer and they will go into hiding!
