Pinewood Derby Time

Spencer and Kaden raced their cars in the ward Pinewood Derby on Saturday and we had two very happy boys.  After last year coming in next to last, we prepared the boys emotionally a little better this year.  To our surprise we did GREAT!!!

Spencer took 1st and Kaden took 3rd

Spencer made a race car and Kaden made a truck with a lego bed and a lego driver.  It was pretty creative.  When they went to weigh in and Kaden was just a little over, he just took off a lego and he was good to go.

After the ward competition the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd went on to the Stake finals that night.

There were 22 boys that entered cars and Spencer came in 8th and Kaden 10th.  They were pretty proud of themselves, don't forget dad, for without him it would have fallen in my lap and the boys would have been racing a rectangular brick of wood with wheels.  Thank heavens for daddy!!!

Kauai 2010

Last week we went to Kauai for the 2010 Infusionsoft Presiden't Club trip. It was AWESOME! We had a great time. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Poipu Beach. Since Tyler rented a car to go surfing, we toured all over the island. We went whale watching, we went to Spouting Horn, to the Glass Beach, the North Shore, and many other cool places. In the slideshow you'll see pictures from Hanalei Bay and Polihale - two places Tyler went surfing. You'll also see many pictures in and around our amazing hotel. Enjoy!
